Actalent Quality Engineer in Rockford, Illinois
Job Description: Quality EngineerResponsibilities
Manage the quality system
Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits
Solve non-conformities and perform problem-solving tasks
Compile KPIs on a dashboard and collaborate with the manager to create and update reports
Work extensively with SAP and Excel
Perform Capability Analysis, Correlation Analysis, design of experiments, process control of product, process controls planning, corrective action of defective parts or units, and develop control plans
Use Six Sigma Methodology to reduce process variations
Essential Skills
Experience with quality systems and documentation
Experience conducting audits
Basic CMM programming and inspection experience
8D or root cause analysis skills
Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Control plans, DOE, QFD, Poke-Yoke techniques, and change management
Additional Skills & Qualifications
A degree is a plus
3+ years of experience in a related field
Preferred experience with TS quality systems
Comfortable with extensive computer work and reporting
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $82000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
