Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the financial services industry, based in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The selected candidate will be tasked with overseeing the accounting requirements, managing month-end close procedures, and handling financial reporting and fixed assets.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall accounting requirements, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Supervise the management of fixed assets within the company
• Handle financial reporting, ensuring all financial statements are prepared correctly
• Direct and manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
• Supervise and mentor two direct reports, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment
• Monitor and manage prepaid assets, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. Requirements • Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated expertise in Month End Close procedures
• Strong skills in Financial Reporting
• Experience with managing Prepaid Assets
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
