As a result of continued growth, we are excited to offer an Internship within our Talent Acquisition Department. This role is geared for Junior or Senior level college students who are pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing or Communication. We anticipate this internship to run the duration of Summer 2024; hours will be flexible. In this internship, you will gain exposure to the talent acquisition lifecycle and execute work critical to the success of our Talent Acquisition strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Build database and relationships with high schools, trade schools, community colleges surrounding each of our locations, and serve as the first contact to facilitate new relationships.

  • Research, price and build career fair kits to support the recruiting efforts of our locations and enhance brand identify in servicing areas.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to reach desired audiences.

  • Identify nationwide Fire Protection college programs to build a talent pipelines.

  • Contribute to the building of functional reporting processes.

  • Administrative duties such as scheduling phone interviews, following up with candidates and updating internal database.

    Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.

  • Ability to interact with a variety of personalities and be a problem solver.

  • Microsoft Office experience required.

    Education and/or Experience:

  • Current college students in their 3rd or 4th year

  • College credits in a related field

  • Interest in recruiting, talent development, marketing and/or human resources

  • Starting Pay Rate:$18/hour
