Experis, a division of ManpowerGroup, is working with a automotive manufacturing organization . Looking for a Production Lead in Rochester, NY . This is a 12-Month Contract , potential to extend and/or hire on perm./FTE.
Job Title: Production Lead
Location: Rochester, NY 14606
Contract: 12 Month Contract
Schedule: 2nd (2pm to 11:30pm) or 3rd (10pm to 7:30am) Shifts, Thursday to Monday, + OT
Pay: $25-$26/HR + benefits
The Production Lead is responsible for supervising a group of employees to develop business processes, manage production operations, foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as influencing the development of manufacturing processes to support this historical and game-changing progression to electric and autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and motivate employees to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and/or efficiency
Review operations and resolve production or processing problems
Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyze production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems
Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances
Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records, including timekeeping
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree in business or related field preferred
1 year experience required
Communication, attention to detail, and problem solving skills
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and various techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and distribution goods
Knowledge of machines and tools, including designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technique plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
