Job Description
Commercial Plumbers will work on both commercial and industrial projects for new and existing plumbing systems. Plumbers will install and build valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial settings. They will work with both water and gas supply lines, as well as sanitation/sewage lines. Plumbers must also be well-versed in cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures to install to existing systems. Additionally, plumbers will troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation that would keep the equipment from functioning properly or the customer from being satisfied. Plumbers will be working primarily with PVC, CPVC, PEX, and copper tubing. They also will be building connections to main mains.
Responsibilities
Install and build valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
Work with water and gas supply lines, as well as sanitation/sewage lines.
Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during installation to ensure proper equipment function and customer satisfaction.
Work primarily with PVC, CPVC, PEX, and copper tubing.
Build connections to main mains.
Essential Skills
2-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial plumbing/pipefitting.
Valid state-issued driver's license with a good driving record.
OSHA 10 certification.
Experience with PEX, CVPC, PVC, and copper pipes and tubes.
Proficiency in blueprint reading, piping, threading, welding, PVC, and brazing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Experience in blueprint/layout and fitting.

Work Environment
You will be working on commercial and industrial job sites and must be OSHA certified. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime. You will work in teams of 2-3 technicians under a foreman/lead and will commute directly to the job site or ride along with the crew, depending on the project.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
