Identify and validate the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys and course evaluation results; document the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies; analyze cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resourcesDevelopment. Create educational programs and curriculum that promote quality healthcare, employee/patient growth and personal wellness; provide leadership in areas of expertise as a resource to the customer; develop communications and audio-visual materials that are clear and conciseImplementation. Facilitate programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers; provide in-depth orientation, in-service and continuing education for staff or patientsIdentifies and validates the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys, and course evaluation results. Provides in-depth orientation, in-service and continuing education for staff or patients.Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies. Implements changes based on need. Analyzes cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resources. Provides leadership in areas of expertise as a resource to the customer. May assess clinical competence of staff with new procedures and/or equipment. Utilizes effective communication strategies by developing communications and audio visual materials that are clear and concise.Utilizes appropriate marketing for programs both internally and externally. Maintains professional affiliations as appropriate to keep abreast of new developments and participates in activities that enhance personal and professional growth.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree required in nursing, health education, or instructional development or an equivalent combination of education and healthcare related work experience will be consideredActive BLS CertificationMust be currently registered and licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional NursePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSThree years prior training/teaching experience in related educational fieldEDUCATION: BS: Health EducationBS: Nursing (Required)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)PAY RANGE: $79,560.00 - $109,200.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
