Job Title: Construction Laborer
Job Description
As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including digging, shoveling, and moving materials around the jobsite. This position requires physical labor and the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly. Tasks may also include setting and building forms, as well as assisting in the installation of concrete and other materials.

Scaling ladders as required
Essential Skills
Previous experience in the construction field such as solar, farm work, roadway, building, or industrial
Ability to scale ladders and lift 50 lbs repeatedly
OSHA 10 certification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, farm hand, solar, concrete, carpentry, or landscape
Experience with construction, civil, site work, and equipment operation

Work Environment
SITE SAFETY CONDITIONS: Extremely OSHA compliant. Safety is our #1 priority, and candidates must follow guidelines at all times. This is very physical work requiring candidates to be on their feet all day, moving material around often with shovels or other tools. Tasks include digging, building, and working in trenches. Hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the opportunity for overtime. The team size is 15 total workers in the field in the site division. This is dirty work, so candidates must be comfortable getting dirty and muddy. Work shirts, pants, and steel-toed boots are required at all times. Winter gear is provided when cold. Personal protective equipment such as hard hats, glasses, gloves, and hi-viz vests are also provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
