The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE
Supports administration/management activities by performing professional operational/business duties in a clinical area/department. Duties may include clinic workflow, clinical quality outcomes, patient relations/satisfaction, clinic-specific budget, and coordination. Maintains departmental policies and procedures. Ensures all department reports are prepared and reviewed as needed. Supports the planning, organization, and coordination of business operations in accordance with strategic goals within the organization. Works on special projects related to clinical operations as directed. May provide direction to associate-level staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Identifies systems of care that optimize patient access and high-quality services. Examines processes, makes suggestions, and leads smaller projects related to improvements for clinical operations including quality or patient care. Participates in workflow development and implementation.
Optimizes provider and staff scheduling templates to promote efficient workflows and patient care. Recommends workflow improvements.
Works with providers and staff within the department and other departments to coordinate care and identify problems related to access to care for patients.
Performs quality assurance monitoring for activities in area of immediate responsibility, as well as of other areas that affect it. Partners with central resources to implement best practices. Uses specific criteria to measure quality, quantity, and timeliness. May make recommendations for improvements or identify areas needing further attention in conjunction with supervisor. May provide direction to associate-level staff.
Tracks assets and inventory used throughout assigned area. Forecasts clinic needs based on patient volumes. Maintains inventory of office and clinical testing supplies. Monitors reorder levels and initiates procurement requests.
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets data. Prepares reports and makes recommendations that may have policy implications. Collects information and provides department leadership with data for assessing clinical staffing needs.
May be involved in outreach and marketing in conjunction with departmental leadership and central resources. Works on social media projects and initiatives as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
Or equivalent combination of education and experience
