Responsibilities
Faculty job description:
Cardiac Intensivist:
Principal clinical duties include providing non-invasive cardiology services on the inpatient Consult Service and in the CCU and CVICU. In addition to these duties, will be required to perform ECG and Echocardiography reading duties in rotation with other cardiology faculty.
Requirements include a NYS medical license, ABIM certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine. The candidate must meet all credentialing requirements including health assessment and drug testing.
Requirements include:
M.D. Degree or equivalent
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine
Must obtain New York State Medical License prior to employment start date
Must meet all requirements for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Post offer drug screen and health assessment required
Compliance with University of Rochester and New York State health requirements

Pay Range
Pay Range: $315,000 - $446,291 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
