Responsibilities
Faculty job description:
Hospitalist responsibilities may include, but are not limited to a combination of patient care, teaching, quality improvement, and/or community service activities. Will provide care to hospitalized patients on the Hospital Medicine Service as the attending of record, and to patients on other services as a Hospital Medicine Consultant. Teaching of medical students, and residents is expected in the School of Medicine and Dentistry. Research activities will enhance your academic career and the academic and clinical excellence of our hospital and Department of Medicine.
Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. Degree or equivalent
Eligible for a New York State Medical License
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Eligible for Board Certification in Internal Medicine
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements

Pay Range
Pay Range: $190,000 - $274,553 Annually
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
