Description
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a detail-oriented Part-Time (15-20 hours a week) Accounting Clerk in Rochester, New York. As an Accounting Clerk, your main role will be to manage accounts, process invoices, and maintain accurate financial records. You will also be required to reconcile accounts and resolve any financial discrepancies.
Responsibilities:
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Utilize Quickbooks Online and Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial tasks
• Manage billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate billing of customers
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions for non-payment or delayed payment
• Maintain accurate and complete financial records
• Respond to customer inquiries related to accounting and billing.
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is essential
• Must have knowledge in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Capability to handle Billing tasks efficiently
• Proficient in Data Entry tasks
• Experience in Invoice Processing is necessary
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is essential
