Position Summary:

Our well established, high performing team is currently looking for a Client Service Advisor. This position provides support to Emerald Financial Groups existing client base. It serves as a resource to Financial Advisors and clients in handling, researching, and communicating inquiries regarding their accounts and supports the daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to utilizing Thrivent computer systems and programs in support of client relations and planning activities of the Financial Advisors, supports securities and insurance-related tasks and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon

  • Develop customized financial plans that address clients’ investment, retirement, estate planning, tax, and insurance needs

  • Educate clients on various investment strategies and products, explaining the benefits and risks associated with each option

  • Recommend appropriate investment portfolios based on clients’ objectives and preferences, taking into account asset allocation, diversification, and market conditions

  • Monitor clients’ investment portfolios and provide ongoing performance reviews and recommendations for adjustments as needed

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and new investment products to ensure the highest level of service and expertise

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive outreach

  • Comply with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards governing the financial advisory profession

  • Work independently with minimal supervision servicing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients

  • Updates and maintains client information in planning tools

    *Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with business needs

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial planning or wealth management

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and tax strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients

  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and results for clients

  • Series 7 and 66 licenses and insurance license required

  • Commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards and fiduciary duty to clients

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions

As part of Emerald Financial Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process.
