Responsibilities
The comprehensive cardiology practice is a rapidly expanding area dedicated to providing care to patients with a broad spectrum of cardiology needs. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in this role will be integral to managing a diverse patient population, utilizing a team-based approach to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with MD support while also exercising professional autonomy. Additionally, there will be numerous opportunities aligned with the Bold Forward Unbound strategies in the coming years, fostering growth and professional development within the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing care and follow-up for patients with chronic heart conditions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Qualifications
Master's or DNP prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner. Current Minnesota RN license and certification as an:
Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP)
Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Minnesota board of Medical practice.
Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges.
Cardiology experience preferred, but not required.
