Responsibilities
The assistant supervisor is responsible to develop, maintain, and improve service to its customers. The assistant supervisor will assist in the recruitment, selection, guidance, development, and discipline of a staff that will provide this service. The incumbent must gain self-improvement, develop continuous improvement, work through and create change.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in a related field required. Must be a graduate of an accredited radiography, ultrasound, or nuclear medicine program. Two years clinical radiology experience required. Incumbents hired into the role prior to February 15, 2018, are required to meet the previous requirements of high school or G.E.D and two years of experience.
Additional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Five years clinical radiology experience preferred.
License or Certification
Registry in specific modality that assistant supervisory position supports is strongly preferred. CPR/BLS certification required.
