Actalent Field Service Technician in Rochester, Michigan

Description:

  • Support Deployment & Product Development Engineering teams

  • Execute complex service, maintenance, and repair missions at customer sites.

  • Deliver in-depth on-site training to clients and partners, imparting advanced troubleshooting and maintenance competencies.

  • Provide on-site assistance for intricate hardware, software, electrical, and networking issues, emphasizing the efficient resolution of intricate technical challenges.

  • Proficiently utilize an extensive array of mechanical and electrical tools, including voltage meters, oscilloscopes, and assembly equipment, ensuring top-tier safety and reliability.

  • Undertake the replacement and calibration of components using specialized software and proprietary platforms.

  • Travel substantially; travel will range from 75% to 100% of the time, with all work-related hotels, meals and travel covered.

Troubleshooting, Electro-mechanical, Schematic, Field service, repair, hydraulics, robotics, automated equipment, oscilloscope, Linux, PLCS, VFD, software, hardware, calibration

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience in the field, highlighting deep expertise in Industrial Robotics, Automation, or closely related domains

  • Exceptional proficiency in working with Linux systems and adeptness in navigating complex technologies

  • Field service and travel experience
