Revlon Export Shipping Coordinator in Roanoke, Virginia
Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that requested ship dates are being met for revenue recognition
Closely monitor ship and requested dates to ensure all orders are being shipped on time
Ensure all ship sheets and procedures manuals are up to date
Act as a liaison between Order Fulfillment, Customer Logistics, Transportation and Shipping floor staff to research and resolve issues as they arise
Communicate with various carriers to schedule pickup appointments
Perform Analyst functions as needed to support volume increases
Key player in all system testing as it relates to Shipping Analyst functionality
Train all new Shipping Analysts and other key personnel that have the ability to cross-train in the department
Adhere and practice 6S programs within the area while pursuing world class excellence
Review, correct, and monitor Virtual Folder.
Understand, practice and uphold all safety roles and responsibilities as designed
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Education
· High school education at a minimum
· Prefer additional college education 2-4 year degree
Experience
· 5+ years of logistics experience with an emphasis on International Outbound Shipping
· Prior lead experience a plus
· Power user with DOCS, JDE, Precision and SAP
· Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge

· International experience
· Understanding of the different business areas Arden, Beauty Care, and Pro.
· Flexibility to cross-train to become interchangeable between departments and job functions
