Job Description:
Client is seeking a Mid-level Data Analyst who can understand complex SQL and has the ability to write SQL code. You will support my client with variable tasks and data review processes to support business request for data from the data warehouse. Additionally, you will be task with data mining the database, and determining the keys, mappings, and relation between the tables.
Day-day: Generally will be doing 1 of 2 activities. They will be a liaison with the business counterpart and health analytics team in order to gather requirements. They will also be doing data specialization, writing simple SQL queries, data quality, and getting data requirements to the data engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes and advises management of workflow issues and data integrity problems and offers recommendations on resolution.
Loads the data dictionary and business glossary with agreed upon terms, metadata, definitions, descriptions, and related values.
Develops reference materials (application data relationship, BI data models, etc.) for supported data processing technologies to be used for both online and in-person training of other technical staff with minimal supervision from supervisor and/or manager.
Manages assigned projects and meets deadlines with moderate supervision from supervisor and/or manager.
Assists Business Analysts with the development of training programs and materials to train end-users and mentor and develop team members.
Interfaces with clients, vendors, and other teams on multi-faceted projects involving data intelligence.
Prefer: A minimum of two of the following certifications are required:
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP)
Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP_
HIMSS – Certified Associate (CAHIMS)
HIMSS – Certified Professional (CPHIMS)
