About the role

As the Service Sales Director Middle East , you will play a crucial role in driving and supporting the transformation and growth of the Carrier HVAC Service & Aftermarket business. You will be responsible for delivering profitable orders growth for service agreements, parts, repairs, and modernizations whilst improving the effectiveness and efficiency in the Middle East Service sales model. You will ensure the service sales function is effective and productive by managing sales targets, processes, training and coaching of salespeople. This role will suit a high caliber Sales leader who is wishing to build a C suite career in a high growth organization. The position will provide strategic leadership to delivery sustained and profitable growth across all markets and business lines.

Responsibilities

You will take ownership of the Middle East region (KSA / UAE / Kuwait & Qatar) sales organization targets, sales plans, and team performance to achieve a high growth strategy while maintaining a strong focus on solution selling and developing a recurring revenue sales model.

  • Build and implement a sales strategy across multiple countries to acquire new customers and help build a high growth service business.

  • Implement Account plans for key strategic customers in target segments and key vertical markets as well as introducing territory plans for sales reps.

  • Develop, maintain, and manage a strong Middle East sales pipeline to ensure an accurate forecast of orders bookings, revenue, and growth opportunities.

  • Build and maintain positive C-level relationships with key customers to maximize customer retention and build deep level customer trust.

  • Ensure sales practices comply with all local and international laws, and legislation.

  • Assist in the deployment, improvement, and implementation of new sales and CRM tools to enhance sales effectiveness.

  • Provide guidance and support to Regional sales leaders with the selection, training, coaching, retention, and onboarding of sales resources.

  • Implement robust management cadence and rigor on sales reporting, benchmarking, KPIs and metrics in full alignment with Sales Operations.

  • Identify clear and differentiated go-to-market strategies to support targeted growth plans and maximize the margin levels

  • Establish clear strategic long range and annual growth plans with priorities set across each market and business lines to achieve Sales & Margin targets.

  • Ensure the organization maintains a best in class sales structure that is effectively aligned with our customers and business priorities.

  • Champion of talent development at all levels within the business and develop clear career paths through the sales organization.

  • Actively support the sourcing of top talent into the organization.

Requirements

We are looking for a professional with strong sales background and excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree; Master's degree/post graduate qualification would be advantageous.

  • Experience working in a service based, technology/equipment industry.

  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent time management with a proven track record of achieving sales targets & objectives.

  • Extensive experience in leading large remote sales teams is essential.

  • Skilled in value-based solution selling in a B2B environment.

  • Successful track record in coaching and managing sales leaders.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience of working and influencing across company directorates in matrix organizations.

  • Track record of demonstrating the ability to drive sustainable and profitable growth across different markets and business lines.

  • Experience of operating and collaborating as an effective team player as part of a senior leadership team (country/zone level).
