Job Description:

Summary

Responsible for driving strategic initiatives to enhance Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programs, processes, and products. Supports the ERM Sr. Director and broader ERM team to further strengthen the governance, framework, and principles for effectively managing risks across the Company, and to help make ERM a competitive advantage. Engages collaboratively with business and risk partners to understand pain points, identify improvement opportunities, and strengthen enterprise risk identification and assessment tools. Establishes consistent routines with first- and second-line teams to provide training, share best practices, and serve as a key point of contact regarding ERM objectives and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Drives enhancements to ERM’s oversight of change management activities, as well as broader risk management framework.

Provides enterprise-wide oversight, governance, and effective challenge of change management activities, including new or changing products and services

Provides strategic direction, design, execution, and adherence monitoring for change-related risk assessments and implementation activities

Partners with first line and enterprise change teams to ensure appropriate implementation of change-related activities

Partners with other second line teams for consistency and transparency in risk change-related risk assessments and broader risk profile impacts

Leverages automation and analytics tools to enhance change management implementation and oversight, ensure holistic change management reporting, and integrate with other business and risk reporting

Partners with first and second line teams to ensure strategic alignment for change initiatives

Ensures integration with key second line program, including Risk Identification, Risk Appetite, Key Risk Indicators, and Issues Management

Continuously reviews objectives, outcomes, and processes used within ERM products to identify improvement opportunities; methods used may include general effective challenge, data analysis, stakeholder workshops, and user group surveys.

Influences risk management activities by leveraging the team’s enterprise-wide risk perspective and leads a culture of risk awareness.

Embeds with key user groups (e.g., front line business units) throughout the enterprise to provide education on risk management principles, share better practices, and guide users

Serves as key point of contact for ERM customers to provide expert guidance and training regarding risk management and ERM routines.

Identifies opportunities to simplify and streamline ERM programs through automation; supports ERM team in data analysis, product reviews, and ongoing execution.

Performs ad hoc ERM activities to support special projects, regulatory requests, or internal audits.

Works constructively and collaboratively with others to accomplish timely resolution of requirements, findings, and leadership objectives.

Uses analytics to understand themes, trends, and impacts across multiple risk types (market, liquidity, credit, operational, strategic, compliance, and legal risks) and facilitate the discussion of actions to address the relevant issues.

Ensures the development, maintenance, and implementation of ERM’s policies, standards, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

·Bachelors in Finance, Business, or Analytics

·10+ years in risk management experience in a financial environment with specific focus on enterprise risk management or internal audit or related

·4+ years people management

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or related field

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $150,500.00 to $228,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
