$19/hour + differential
2nd Shift (2nd Shift carries +$1.25 differential)
ASSEMBLER
SUMMARY:
Assemble and test new and developing product lines by following engineering drawings and/or instruction from the Assembly Manager and other Engineering Department personnel using various tools and fixtures. The secondary function of the Assembler is to maintain the Riverdale Assembly areas in a clean and orderly fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assemble products using hands and or basic tools in a timely manner
Test products as per written instructions safely and effectively
Effectively utilize digital system for all assembly tasks
Maintain accurate counts of items assembled
Log in and out of digital system
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical school experience beyond High School (certification or degree preferred)
Basic Math Skills (counting, measuring, use of calculator)
Maintain clean working environment
Perform the job with minimal supervision
Work productively and safely in a production environment
Contribute ideas and help to implement production optimization strategies
Ability to carry out detailed written and verbal instructions.
Ability to comprehend basic engineering concepts and units of measure (pressure, length, flow rate, etc.)
