GE Aerospace Contract Administrator in Rivalta di Torino, Italy

Job Description Summary

At Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace Business unit, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. We are specialized in the design, production and maintenance of components and systems for both the civil and military aviation.

The Contract Administrator will be responsible for all the activities related to Suppliers promise integrity (purchase orders fulfillment).

In this role you will directly report to the Procurement Manager within Sourcing Organization and you will be cross-functional in the Structural Casting Commodity. You will also be responsible from a delivery point of view for the Suppliers risk mitigation and you will support the Supplier Assessment team in executing improvement plans in case of any issue.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage actions plans for improvement, Working internally with other departments and externally with suppliers, referring to Procurement Leader in case of escalation

  • Ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only and resolve delivery issues

  • Get Well creation, management and order book review

  • Support RCCA definition and problem solving initiatives

  • Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery issues

  • KPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actions

  • Recurrent On site visit @ suppliers

  • Support accounting and invoicing

  • Raw material coverage and Inventory management support

Qualification/Requirements

  • Degree, preferably in Engineering, from an accredited university or college

  • Knowledge of the sourcing field and previous and concrete work experience in Buying/Procurement or Manufacturing Engineering/Quality Engineering or Program Management/Sourcing or Fulfillment/Planning

  • Strong commercial attitude (interpersonal, oral and written communication skills) supported by significant ability to analyze and resolve problems and work in a cross-functional teamwork environment

  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

  • Demonstrated skills to lead projects and document, plan, and execute programs

  • Previous experience in suppliers management

  • Strong analytic problem-solving mindset

  • Knowledge of SAP MM Module
