Alpine Bank Deposit Operations Business Specialist in Rifle, Colorado

General Purpose The Deposit Operations Business Specialist performs a variety of deposit operations duties including business relationship monitoring, specializing in Enhanced Account Analysis, maintaining accounts and customer information files (CIFs).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for being proficient at the following and performing these duties on a daily or periodic basis: Monitors new account set-ups and account maintenance to ensure proper documents and Customer Identification Program (CIP) information are received and imaged. Oversees customer address changes and add or remove the bad address flag. Recognizes and logs errors and missing documentation in opening and maintaining accounts. Reviews and updates new account and new product documents for completeness and accuracy. Tracks exceptions to CIP requirements. Processes returned mail and updates system accordingly. Scans and indexes documentation for easy access. Performs daily activities related to deposit operations and support deposit operations staff with daily processing and related project assignments. Performs clerical and administrative functions such as handling phone calls in a professional manner and processing incoming and outgoing mail. Monitors reports to ensure compliance with processes and procedures. Processes requests to perform demand deposit account (DDA) and CIF maintenance. Works with Commercial Bankers and Retail to review business relationships for consistency and accuracy. Specialized in Enhanced Account Analysis (EAA) maintenance, pricing categories, exception reporting, and statement review. Monitors and completes change of account type requests. Works on projects to assist in implementing department processes for new and existing bank products. Regular and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this job. Other Duties/Responsibilities Complete internal teller training. Complete internal new accounts training. Training with Commercial Banking Sales and Support teams. Complete Principles of Banking class. Provide training to internal staff. Performs other duties as assigned. Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

Job Qualifications: Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to respond promptly to customer needs. Familiarity with state and federal banking regulations and Alpine Banks policies and procedures. Strong analytical skills. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe. Strong detail orientation and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to create and deliver training to internal staff. Evaluates and prioritizes workflow in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to be responsible for the consequences of one's own actions and decisions. Communicates and collaborates with team members to ensure superior results and team success. Capability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. Ability to navigate the cold storage system.

Education or Formal Training: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) equivalency.

Experience: One (1) year related experience in as an Operations Specialist or training in Alpine Bank or other banking environment. Knowledge of business account structure is preferred. Working Conditions Working Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Activities: These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Whi e performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required; it would require the ability to reach for and lift files open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee may have to lift up to 25

Starting Rate of Pay is from $17.75 to $22.75 per hour, depending on experience.
