ManpowerGroup Analytical Lab Technician in Riegelwood, North Carolina

Our client, an advanced material supplier is seeking an Analytical lab Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have good teamwork skills, communication, and problem solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Analytical Lab Technician

Location: Riegelwood, NC

Pay Range: $23-$38 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Perform routine analytical testing using various techniques to determine product purity and concentration.

  • Ensure laboratory safety by handling chemical substances safely and adhering to protocols, while accurately recording and reporting data.

  • Assist in maintaining laboratory operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.

  • Using GC-FID/TCD, HPLC, GPC, LOD, UV-Vis, DSC for purity and concentration of product.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize laboratory procedures and achieve reliable results critical to product quality.

What’s Needed?

  • An associate degree in science, preferably in chemistry or related fields.

  • Experience operating laboratory equipment, both electrical and non-electrical.

  • Knowledge of quality systems and best practices in the laboratory.

  • Understanding of safe handling and disposal procedures for hazardous substances.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
