Position Summary:Responsible for properly receiving, storing andissuing of all food received in the warehouse, beverage and general storerooms under the guidance ofthe Purchasing Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Fills and delivers all requisitions for supplies to departments.
- Inspect and unpack all merchandise received, and stocks/stores it.
- Strictly adheres to the operating hours of the storerooms.
- Checks requisitions for proper authorization.
- To follow/adhere to Big Cedar operation procedures and local health regulations.
- Ability to operate hand truck, lift-jack and dolly.
- Start a list for out of stocks/goods and received 'items' so that follow-up can be made.
- Verify that no requisitions are left open (all requisitions should be completed and closed out).
- Other duties may be assigned and changes in responsibilities may occur.
- Missouri Class E or Arkansas 'P' designation drivers license is optional. A Good driving record is required.

- Must be flexible and able to work am and pm shifts as well as someweekends and holidays.
- Must be able to handle repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying up to 75lbs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in warehouse delivery and receiving preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Writing- Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Basic Computer Skills- Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.).
- Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Oral Comprehension- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Law and Government- Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules that apply to job (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ADA, CFC, NFPA, ASI).
- Clerical- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
