POSITION: Tram/Golf Cart Driver
DEPARTMENT: Event Services
REPORTS TO: Director of Event Services
FLSA STATUS: Part-time hourly, Non-Exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate tram/golf cart in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure the safety of passengers and pedestrians during boarding, travel, and disembarking.
Greet passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Assist passengers with boarding and providing information about routes and stops.
Follow designated routes and schedules.
Announce stops and provide information about upcoming stops or points of interest.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the tram/golf cart is in good working condition.
Report any malfunctions or issues to maintenance personnel.
Respond to emergencies, such as accidents or medical incidents, by following established procedures.
Communicate with dispatch or emergency services as needed.
Education and/or Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Skills and Abilities
Proficient and safe driving skills, including the ability to operate a trolley in various traffic conditions.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers.
Clear verbal communication skills to provide announcements and interact with passengers.
Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
Ability to address and resolve issues that may arise during the course of duty.
Familiarity with the designated tram/golf cart route, stops, and points of interest.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Must have a valid Driver’s license or the equivalent
