The Role
We are looking for a VP to lead the integration of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, billing systems, and other corporate applications into a cohesive ecosystem that drives operational efficiency and supports business growth, ensuring that enterprise systems effectively meet evolving business needs. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and strategizing the implementation and maintenance of critical technology systems across the organization.
Successful candidates will have a blend of visionary leadership and business acumen with deep technological expertise. In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders and manage dedicated teams to deliver high-quality system performance and continuous improvement. Key success goals will include improvements in operational efficiency, accuracy in billing and financial reporting, enhanced scalability of systems to support growth, and high stakeholder satisfaction with IT services.
The Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Roadmap:
Develop and implement a unified technology strategy that is aligned with Lumen’s overall objectives and growth plans
Define a roadmap to ensure the systems architecture is scalable, secure, and optimized for automation and efficiency.
Refine roadmaps as needed.
System Integration & Optimization:
Lead the consolidation and integration of disparate systems into a cohesive, integrated environment.
Eliminate silos and ensure seamless data flow across all systems.
Ensure that systems are scalable, and risk controlled.
Oversight of Implementation & Maintenance :
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and CI of all enterprise applications.
Establish robust processes for system monitoring, incident management, and upgrades to ensure HA of critical applications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to ensure that systems support their operational needs and to prioritize system enhancements
Ensure technology initiatives are driven by business priorities.
Team Leadership and Development:
Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals and system specialists
Set clear objectives, foster professional growth, and build a culture of accountability and excellence.
Process Improvement & Innovation :
Identify opportunities to optimize business processes and workflows.
Champion process re-engineering efforts that drive operational efficiency.
Project & Program Management:
Ensure a rigorous project management discipline
Manage resources and mitigate risks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Provide regular status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Data Integrity & Analytics:
Ensure data integrity, consistency and governance across all systems
Develop and enforce reporting and BI standards
Facilitate data-driven decision making.
Vendor and Budget Management:
Own the relationships with vendors and third-party service providers
Manage vendor performance and contracts, including service-level agreements
Ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI on investments.
Change Management & User Adoption:
Lead organizational change management efforts related to system changes.
Drive user adoption through effective communication, training, education and support.
Strategic Goals & Performance:
Leverage corporate systems to drive strategic business outcomes.
Measure and report on outcomes and adjust strategies to meet the evolving goals.
What We Look For in a Candidate
12+ years of experience in IT and enterprise systems that includes managing ERP and billing systems. 8+ years in people management roles, building and motivating high-performing teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
Experience leading large-scale technology initiatives in complex or multi-entity organizations
Deep knowledge of enterprise systems and architecture with an understanding of ERP platforms, billing and financial systems, CRM, and BI tools.
Experience evaluating and implementing technology solutions to streamline operations.
Ability to align technology initiatives with broader business objectives and drive digital transformation efforts.
An analytical mindset, using data-driven decision-making
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, Salesforce and ERP
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$207,022 - $276,030 in all states.
