The Role
The Senior Manager of Datacenter and Cloud Network will lead a team of network engineers, ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our datacenter and cloud network infrastructure. This position requires working with cross-functional teams and extensive experience in network management and operational excellence, strategic planning, and team leadership.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.
The Main Responsibilities
Manage and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Oversee the design, deployment, and management of enterprise hybrid cloud network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, resiliency, scalability, and security.
Monitor and optimize network performance through advanced diagnostic tools, implementing necessary adjustments for enhanced efficiency.
Provide high-level technical guidance and resolve escalated issues while maintaining system stability.
Collaborate with technology vendors and stakeholders to implement business-focused networking solutions.
Mentor and provide technical leadership while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Oversee the plan and execution of network capacity improvements, failure testing, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
Foster the continuous adoption of automation tools, infrastructure as code, and scripting to improve efficiency for network deployments and operations.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required Skills:
Expertise in cloud networking technologies, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, and VPNs in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency with common designs and technologies, segmentation and security, and WAN connectivity.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing connectivity services including advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), virtual routing (VRFs), and network segmentation.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking principles, protocols such as DNS & HTTP/HTTPS, and cloud network architecture best practices.
Understanding of network traffic load-balancing technologies, such as local traffic management and global server load-balancing.
Understanding of network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform) to enhance operational efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and mentor engineers while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships.
Desired Skills:
Hands-on experience with enterprise network security systems, including next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
Proficient with design, configuration, and integration of container-based ecosystems.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience with typically 8+ years enterprise level support and design experience.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering and management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Relevant certifications including network-focused CCNA, CCNP or cloud-based AWS, GCP, or Azure are preferred.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
