What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.
Responsibilities
Must be able to work 11:30 am EST to 8pm EST Monday to Friday.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Must have the ability and curiosity to understand processes and recommend standard procedures.
Assists with other duties and projects as assigned and deemed necessary to meet the business needs.
Demonstrates knowledge of financial processes, accounting policies, systems, controls, and work streams.
Demonstrates experience working in a transactional finance environment coupled with strong internal controls.
Possesses understanding of service level goals and objectives when providing customer support.
Works collaboratively to respond to non-standard requests
Possesses strong organizational skills and prioritizes getting the right things done.
Customer Service:
Resolve and respond to customer inquiries regarding credit card accounts, transactions, via phone.
Provide clear and concise information to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management as needed.
Responsible for timely research and problem resolution of financial entries for Credit Cards and Electronic Payments.
Credit Card Processing:
Process credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
Verify customer information and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Monitor and troubleshoot any processing errors or discrepancies.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze credit card transaction data to identify trends and patterns.
Prepare reports and summaries for management.
Assist with the development and implementation of credit card policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
2+ years of experience in credit card processing, accounting, accounts receivable or related field, preferred
SAP experience, preferred
Merchant processing, preferred
Strong understanding of credit card industry regulations and best practices.
Excellent customer service skills with a proven ability to handle difficult situations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Anticipated salary range: $56,200-$80,400
