Positions in this sub-family are responsible for managing or performing skilled trades and apprentice craft work for construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities systems, buildings, and equipment including: • Installation, repair & maintenance in a manufacturing or field site environment • Installation, repair, maintenance, dismantle, and movement of large and/or complex industrial equipment • Service and repair of automobiles and their parts

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality.

  • Support the customers/maintenance staff (engineers, managers and technical) to utilize MaintainIT, utilizing the standard processes described.

  • Assure asset counting processes annually implementation according with global standards and local legislation.

  • Leading all roll outs regarding a Global maintenance project.

  • Assure the compliance of predictive and preventive maintenance activities performed by external OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and suppliers.

  • Coordinate the area staff in the absence of the Maintenance Manager in order to complete maintenance activities.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities with other departments.

  • Ensure the development of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, creation, and execution of continues improvement journey.

  • SAP Super User. – including coordinating and blocking Preventative maintenance schedule

  • Troubleshooting through the root cause mindset.

  • Participate in projects to improve processes and equipment.

  • Must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in solving critical and chronic problems in machinery.

  • Deep understanding of technical details platforms/management system in machine maintenance.

  • Project management skills to plan and execute assigned projects.

  • Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisors, engineers, to meet customer needs.

  • Reach into new global machine maintenance standards new ways to develop and improve our processes.

  • Take responsibility for the appropriate integration and / or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its effectiveness.

  • Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area.

  • Provide support, participate proactively, and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.

  • Comply with the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area.

Do you have what it takes?

  • +3 years in Engineering/Automation/Maintenance/Software Projects.

  • AutoCAD, Rockwell and Siemens Knowledge.

  • Must have the necessary requirements to travel abroad for training and job requirements.

  • Must be willing and able to work multiple ships.

  • English fluent level.

  • Note: This position is based at our LEGO Virginia manufacturing factory located in Richmond. This is not a remote position.
