Position Overview:

Reports to Web Marketing Manager. The Content Specialist (Electronics & Technology) should have exceptional writing skills with keen interest in leaning about new technology and best practices. This is a full-time position based out of head office. The social content specialist will be closely working with Product team, category managers and category lead and will be responsible to gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information shared by them.


  • Responsible for defining important social media keywords, staying current with the latest social media practices and technologies, using social media marketing tools, and implementing the campaign you design.

  • In-charge of copywriting posts in collaboration with the marketing department and working with multiple online platforms, such as Blog, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.

  • Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts on technical products.

  • Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.

  • Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.

  • Advocating and educating others about interests, products, or services.

  • Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords..

  • Monitoring responses to posts via the website, social media, or other platforms to better understand the audience.

  • Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends

  • 5 years + experience in technical writing

  • Excellent writing, editing, time management, and communication skills

  • Creativity and adaptability.

  • Ability to sit and type for extended periods


  • Certificate in Technical Writing and/or Bachelors degree in a related field
