- Initiates sales process by prospecting, scheduling appointments, making initial presentations, understanding business needs, developing proposals and completing contracts. * Establish, maintain and develop business relationships with sellers and potential sellers to enhance the potential for selling value-added services on a regional level. * Plan and organize an ongoing sales strategy derived from the corporately defined revenue and profit targets. * Contact new sellers to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by Newegg’s services. Present quotes, credit terms, bid specifications and all other options. * Answer sellers’ questions about services and negotiate prices and terms of service agreements. * Gather and manage intelligence regarding sellers’ profile, type, core business industry, buying trends, needs and preferences. Complete sales reports, reviews and other paperwork. * Responsible for keeping commitments in a timely manner and resolving issues promptly. * This position's responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all-encompassing. * You have a bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related equivalent experience * 5+ years of business development experience or experiences logistics sales * Outstanding communication skills both oral and written * A solid understanding of Supply Chain and business management. * Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic * Superior business and negotiation skills * Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Demonstrated business communication skills with emphasis in facilitation, negotiation and presentation skills. * Strong customer service experience with a keenness to exceed customer requirements. * Goal and results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales goals. * Demonstrated time management and organizational skills with a proven track record of handling multiple priorities.
