REA has long been known for the technical excellence we apply in developing and maintaining our systems. As we continue to grow, we need even further focus on reliability engineering, to enable our teams to reduce the likelihood of incidents and into incident management to deal with incidents when they happen.
As our reliability leader, you will help design the systems of work we ask product and engineering teams across REA to use to ensure that their systems meet the needs of our customers, consumers, staff and investors. This will require a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to develop the right best practices, and to influence how our products integrate those practices.

Create and deliver training to teams across REA

Provide an incident commander service, for teams that require this
Create and manage a set of reliability metrics that can be used across the organisation
Drive clear, concise and consistent communications during incidents
Ensure that the incident management practices used by product and engineering teams effectively dovetail with our enterprise-wide business continuity and major incident management processes
