The Procurement & Workplace Experience team are passionate about providing value to the REA Group. Whether this is through driving good service and commercial outcomes from our vendors or managing a best-in-class property management and travel and expenses program, the team have worked closely together to deliver consistent outcomes to the business.

What the role is all about

The Procurement Support Officer holds a pivotal position within the Procurement and Workplace team, tasked with providing comprehensive assistance in diverse reporting and administrative capacities. This role entails close collaboration with procurement leads and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of procurement processes.

  • Extracting pertinent data from various systems for purification, organizing, and formatting to uphold standards of accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

  • Timely updating of existing reports with extracted information, including modification of trend data points.

  • Maintaining relevant Procurement reports and systems to accurately reflect savings tracking and reporting, alongside managing the contract management system by incorporating new contracts and furnishing reporting on upcoming expiries.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic procurement initiatives and category plans, harmonizing them with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Contributing to process improvement opportunities within the team.

  • Supporting social procurement and environmental, social, and corporate governance initiatives within the broader Procurement & Workplace Experience team.

  • Assisting Procurement Managers in devising category strategy plans, encompassing stakeholder management and communication strategies.

  • Providing support and backup for the Supplier Risk Officer and Travel & Expenses Specialist, ensuring continuity and efficiency in their absence.

  • Managing mailbox requests efficiently to ensure timely responses and resolutions.

Who we’re looking for

  • Exceptional excel skills.

  • Corporate experience, ideally within procurement, data management, data visualisation and/or reporting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar is preferred.

  • You are an enthusiastic self-starter, motivated and keen to independently take on projects and run with them.

  • You are curious to find and drive forward opportunities for improvement within team processes and/or systems.

  • Demonstrated strong time management and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to work productively in a fast paced and agile environment.
