Role Summary:

Under the general supervision of the AVP of Product Management, the Senior Salesforce Product Owner is responsible for the technical life cycle of the digital products they have been assigned. This includes the development efforts, configuration changes, escalated support, maintenance, and administrative responsibilities such as documenting technical requirements, product road maps, vendor contracts, and budgeting associated with the product.  The Senior Salesforce Product Owner will collaborate with Stakeholders and vendors regularly to deliver new products and enhance existing products that meet the needs of the Credit Union. The Senior Salesforce Product Owner will represent business needs and priorities of the credit union to the vendor, manage the product backlog, and incorporate feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement.  Products that would fall under the responsibility of the Senior Salesforce Product Owner would be Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other custom developed Salesforce Products.

 

The Senior Salesforce Product Owner position has the ability to work fully remote from Washington, Oregon or Idaho.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

Understands business and end-user needs; and can identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs.

Directs and oversees the lifecycle of products and applications, including prioritizing all work efforts associated with products.

Has a strong understanding of the system architecture of the product they are responsible for, to include the server infrastructure, network, and data they rely on?

Identifies product strengths and weaknesses and works with all parts of the organization to implement and configure the product where needed.

Manages vendor relationships to the extent of assisting with the review of and negotiation of contracts alongside the business stakeholder.

Collaborates with business units when in the process of discovery for new vendors and or products.

Develops near and long-term product roadmaps.

Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.

Works with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories.

Collect and understand the technical requirements for new product implementations and enhancements.

Provides application support when escalation to a subject matter expert is required.

Identifies defects and sees them through to resolution as needed.
