Location: Richland, Washington Type: Contract Job #7742 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Senior Implementation Manager will oversee projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, budget, and deadline goals. This role will refine project plans, validate readiness to minimize risks, and collaborate with project managers to optimize schedules, costs, and risk mitigation strategies. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Identify errors or misconceptions in project documentation, including Project Schedules, Implementation Means & Methods, Risk Register, Work Orders, Quality Control Inspections, Test & Commissioning Plans, Clearance Orders, Materials, Budget/Estimates, Radiological Strategies, and Resource Load Boards. Validate the quality of all Work Order Tasks (WOT) associated with assigned scope prior to field activities, and remediate identified WOTs lacking quality or containing errors. Review and provide improvements to testing and acceptance plans, and identify activities/processes that would benefit from mock-ups. Communicate personal Operating Experience and identify industry-related experiences to develop response strategies for each example. Serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope when necessary. Maintain a broad knowledge base of codes, standards, innovative technologies, technical skillsets, implementation strategies, and industry trends related to Enterprise Risk Projects. Provide timely and candid feedback to Project Managers, Oversight Managers, and Department Management on project strategy and implementation. Provide oversight of shop or field activities to ensure alignment with the approved project strategy and offer coaching as needed. Serve as the designated person in charge of project activities during specified shifts, potentially overseeing large crews. Coordinate resources and collaborate with vendor resources to identify and remove roadblocks. Attend key strategy meetings with Project Managers, such as Design Review Boards, Steering Committees, Integrated Implementation Briefings, High-Risk Work Plan Challenge Meetings, and others as assigned. Requirements: Requires an advanced (graduate) degree in a related field of study or business AND 10 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field of study or business AND 12 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment. Requires an associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND 14 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment. Requires a High School Diploma/GED AND 16 years of mechanical experience in a nuclear, steam-cycle, and/or regulated industrial environment. Proven experience in construction management. Proven experience in multiple refueling outages at a commercial nuclear powerplant. Proven experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear powerplant. Proven experience with feedwater heaters and internals of feedwater
