General Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing customer relationships in multiple levels. This role involves interfacing with product planning, engineering development, procurement, and supply chain teams to sell Qualcomm products. Director will collaborate closely with technical and product teams at Qualcomm headquarters and coordinate customer activities.
• Be a “demand shaper” - Consolidate, maintain, and evangelize Qualcomm products and materials, provided by multiple business units or industry verticals, while driving aligned carrier offerings
• Be a senior-level, credible promoter for Qualcomm advanced offerings in (e.g.) 5G/6G, AI/ML, Infrastructure, Fixed Wireless, PON, WiFi, NTN + other offerings
• Act as detailed-oriented Tier 3 customer service support agent to wireless carriers with technical issues, product questions, customer escalations, etc.
• Manage a variety of technical tools/equipment and agreements needed for carrier product validation and testing
• The environment is fast-paced and requires cross-functional interaction on a daily basis to technical and non-technical personnel within Qualcomm and the carrier. So good communication, planning and execution skills are a must.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR
• Associate's degree and 10+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
OR
• High school Diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of sales, business development, product development or related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors of degree in Science, Engineering, or technical related field is strongly preferred ideal candidate to have minimum 10-15 years of industry experience in these kinds of roles:
o OEM Technical Account Management
o Wireless product marketing, Competitive analysis, Product management, Business development
• Recent wireless CPU, SoC and modem experience
• Indirect Sales management is a plus, with proven, recent “sell-through” success of the latest OEM products
• Working experience with AT&T
• Be comfortable driving an ambitious agenda of product offerings through the senior level of the carrier
• Ability to work seamlessly with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product and technology development, align on strategic goals, and ensure successful product launches and market adoption
• Self-starter, must be resourceful and able to effectively operate in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel as required

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits :
$198,400.00 - $297,600.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
