  • Manage all 2nd shift employees in collaboration with other departmental leaders.

  • Assist the Plant Manager in work assignments within the plant, as needed.

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

  • Provide leadership by communicating expectations and holding teams accountable. Provide positive and corrective feedback as appropriate.

  • Report any faults, site, and maintenance issues to ensure site safety and product quality.

  • Conduct and ensure all necessary staff training is completed and signed off so that staff are well-equipped to do their job.

  • Actively engage in and promote a Safety culture that ensures the well-being of all team members.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous communication.

  • Consistently implement quality control, following all operational processes, carrying out quality control checks, and ensuring close inspection of the team's work activities.

  • Create a safe and organized work environment.

  • All other tasks, as required.

    Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications Essential

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • 3+ years' experience as a Supervisor in an operational setting

  • Must be able to obtain EPA 608 Certification within first 6 months of employment.

  • Good verbal and written communication

  • Ability to make informed and confident decisions in various situations.

  • Adaptability in evolving business.

  • Exceptional time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Address and resolve conflict in a constructive manner.

  • Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week and be available for overtime hours.

  • Can lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

  • Must have high attention to detail to receive, inspect, and certify incoming and outgoing cylinders.

    Desirable

  • College level courses

  • Forklift license

  • Understanding of basic engineering, warehousing, and environmental services

  • Being able to lead a diverse team.

  • Previous experience working with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus.
