Chart Industries Manager Revenue Operations in Rheden, Netherlands

The Manager Revenue Operations is responsible for leading the project management and planning team, having overall accountability for customer contract execution. The Manager Revenue Operations reports to the Director Project Management & Engineering. What needs to be done?

  • Responsible for leading the project management and planning team, having overall accountability for customer contract execution.

  • Achieve targets as per Annual Operating Plan – ensure data-driven forecasting is in place for sales and cost-to-complete, and driving and delivering project execution as per plan. Ensure countermeasures are identified and implemented to bring overall results back on track in case of negative deviations.

  • Ensures that after contract award, projects are managed with a constant focus on customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, quality, cost, quality, and working capital.

  • Provides project management and planning capabilities in order execution, ensures the team has the required competencies and scale to meet forecasted business volume.

  • Coaching and development of the team and ensure skills and competencies are developed to build a high-performance revenue operations team, capable of accurately forecasting and delivering contract revenues and margins on-time and with highly satisfied customers.

  • Focus on improving project management processes and further strengthening of planning and forecasting processes.

  • Ensures risks are actively managed by identifying, assessing and controlling commercial, contractual, financial and technical risks.

  • Performing all people leader related activities, including coaching, talent management, retention, performance management, recruitment, wellbeing, absenteeism management etc.

  • Ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities for process and team improvements to drive customer satisfaction and ensuring customer feed.

  • This position is part of the middle management team of the location and has a collective responsibility to achieve the company annual operational goals.

What do you need to bring?

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent.

  • Proven experience in leading people with respect to performance and development.

  • Stakeholder management – able to understand wider business environment, identify stakeholder interests and pro-actively manage expectations and commitments.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and oversee complex and highly interlinked processes.

  • Coordination and delegation – retain oversight on activities and priorities, delegate and prioritize accordingly.

  • Full proficiency in the English language to navigate in an international business environment.

  • Experience in project management of large capital goods and high value contracts (>10 MEUR).

  • We prefer candidates with a Project Management qualification (Prince 2, PMP or equivalent) and/or experience in the oil & gas industry.

  • Communication – strong communicator, easily establishing relations on individual and team level, able to build a motivating and stimulating culture.

  • Change management – demonstrated ability to effectively lead change in organizations.

  • Pro-active attitude, ability to anticipate on challenges and set-backs, ability to mitigate the impact for the business and for the team.

  • Creative mindset with a customer focus.

  • Team player and a self-starter.

  • Strong analytic skills and fact-based decision making.

  • Occasional travel could be required.
