Where the chemistry happens…
Marketing Communications Managers plan and coordinate communication strategies and execute these media plans to support brand/product campaigns across the Crop Protection, Seed Treatment, and Seed & Traits businesses. This individual will build close working relationships with our Campaign Managers, Marketing teams, Customer Experience colleagues, and Product Managers as well as lead and interface with various cross-functional teams and agency partners to ensure seamless and synergistic execution of MarComm strategies, programs, and initiatives. This role is a critical part of the APN business execution and demand generation tactics.
As a Marketing Communications Manager - Research Triangle Park, NC, You Create Chemistry By...
• Responsible for developing strategic messaging and marketing communications planning/tactics for US Crop, Seed & Traits, and/or Seed Treatment
• Maintaining positive cross-functional relations with Campaign Managers, Marketing Teams, Events Team, External Comms, and Product Managers
• Serving as an agency liaison and directing contact for the external media agency
• Effectively managing marcomm budget allocations, media planning, creative development, and communications/media planning/tactics execution with the agency
• Assisting in developing the business use and implementation of priority digital and integrated whole crop initiatives by collaborating with respective agencies and internal stakeholders
• Identifying and meeting KPIs and metrics for marcomm/media plans
• Applying best practices of digital tools, media planning and execution, event planning, etc. in the evaluation and recalibration of media planning and execution
• Performing additional duties identified in collaboration with supervisor and project teams.
If you...
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline and 10 years of relevant experience (experience in the agriculture industry a plus but not required)
• Project management experience is a must have to ensure strategic messaging and communications plan execution for BASF Agricultural Solutions.
• Experience interfacing with external agencies and managing a program budget. Agricultural experience preferred, but not required.
• Nimbleness and ability to manage multiple priority initiatives
• A strong ability to work and influence cross-functionally across businesses and with stakeholders on synergic business goals
