HVAC Technician essential tasks: Perform Preventative Maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspections and repairs of belts, pulleys, motors, and heat exchangers. Diagnose and repair issues with HVAC systems, including boilers, compressors, and ducting. Safely handle refrigerants in compliance with EPA standards. Complete general repairs and minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks as required. Use technology to manage work orders, service reports, and inspections. Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining communication and providing estimates for larger projects. Attend safety meetings and complete necessary training. Qualifications: HS diploma or certification in Landscaping, Trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing), or Specialty Floor Care preferred. 2-year HVAC technical certificate or state-approved HVAC license required, along with an EPA Universal Refrigeration License. 5 years of HVAC/General Maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Ability to read instructions, write reports, and use Microsoft Office. Comply with safety regulations and perform repairs, with daily local travel between properties.
