PACCAR Business and Quality Mainframe Analyst in Renton, Washington

Job Description: Develop and execute software tests to identify problems and causes, recording and resolving software bugs and defects.  Coordinate and run user acceptance testing and document testing results and any associated defects. Perform requirements analysis, user story creation, and effort estimations.  Prepare test plans, create test cases, and perform test execution, user acceptance testing and implementation.  Perform Scrum Master and Management Support as well as Application Support, including help desk ticket support and coordination. Document business and IT requirements including process flow and data flow diagrams. Collect and analyze business requirements and transfer knowledge to the development team. Communicate effectively with business and internal teams to deliver product's functional requirements. Facilitate workshops to scope projects and gather detailed product requirements. Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.  Telecommuting permitted up to 40% from within Seattle metropolitan area.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field required or foreign degree equivalent and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate software quality assurance/testing experience. Experience must include at least 5 years of experience in each of the following: 

 

  1. Runs AGILE development projects in coordination with off-shore teams using Microsoft DevOps.  
  2. Performs testing processes using Microfocus ALM toolset (previously known as HPQC) and Microsoft Test Manager, including creation, execution and maintenance of test cases, test plans, user story mapping, configuration, and end-to-end test executions.   
  3. Develops and produces business flow diagrams and IT requirement documents using Lucid Charts and Visio. 
  4. Tests software for mainframe integrated applications .NET, ERP (SAP), BI (Tableau), and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) written in C, C++, Java, COBOL 4, COBOL 6 and Easytrieve in accordance with ISTQB standards.  
  5. Testing software for SAP Modules, including SD, FICO, PS, MM, QM, PM, SRM, and HR.
  6. Creates business user stories for mainframe domains in the automotive industry for Chassis, Order Processing, Finance and Material domains.  
  7. Automation and performance testing using Unified Functional Testing, LoadRunner, and Application Lifecycle Management.  
  8. Works on modernization projects for a Fortune 500 company.

Position also requires Professional Scrum Master I certification.   

Experience may be gained concurrently. 

SALARY:  $138,050 per year to $151,300 per year. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift. LOCATION:    Position full-time, 40 hours per week, with PACCAR Inc located in Renton, WA.  Telecommuting permitted up to 40% within the Seattle metropolitan area.
