Smith Excavating and Construction LLC Laborer in Renovo, Pennsylvania
About Us:
Smith Excavating and Construction is a small business in Renovo, PA. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team. We provide excavation, demolition, and construction services for residential, commercial, oil and gas, municipal, state and federal agencies.
We Are Looking For:
We are looking for someone to perform general laborer and operator duties. Previous experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Job Duties/Skills:
- Perform manual labor
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, haul trucks, etc.
- Proficient in the use of drills, skill saws, jackhammers, etc.
- Perform general and preventive maintenance work on equipment
- Perform minor repairs on equipment
- Assist excavation or backfill activities with the use of a pick, shovel, etc.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass random drug tests and background checks
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, rain and other weather-related aspects
- Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials on jobsite
Work Hours:
- Job sites are located throughout PA. Transportation is provided to and from the site.
- Monday thru Friday - typical 10+ hours day
- Possible Saturday, Sunday, Holidays, Night Shift if necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
