SALARY: Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years experience in a supervisor role required.
  • Freight and/or LTL experience required.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leadership, teambuilding, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to influence and work across a variety of levels within an organization without official authority.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong PC proficiency and experience using MS Office products. AS400 experience preferred but not required.
  • H.S. diploma or GED/equivalent required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Lead the team members to ensure customers receive a World Class experience.
  • Identify training opportunities and assign appropriate training.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns.
  • Work closely with operations leaders to help resolve larger customer issues.
  • Report indirectly to the local Terminal Manager in regard to issues affecting the operations or team members.
  • Pull daily phone activity logs and report numbers to Director and hold team members accountable if not meeting minimum expectations.
  • Monitor specific reports in the AS400 to ensure all work is meeting expectations.
  • Responsible for coaching, issuing discipline, and participate in hiring process.
  • Responsible for onboarding and overseeing training for new employees.
  • Support Director of Customer Experience by handling other duties as assigned.
