The

Building Maintenance Technician

Jr.is responsible for assisting with the hotel building maintenance and refurbishment of the building components to ensure quality guest experience.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Performs routine inspections and repairs of guest rooms, hallways, stairwells and back of house areas
• Repairs drywall, paint, wallpaper, furniture, doors and minor electrical and plumbing when needed
• Conducts regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Ability to perform maintenance and repairs to the facility or ability to learn job tasks efficiently
• Ability to problem solve and work under pressure
• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 75 pounds
• Available to work flexible hours including overtime, holidays and weekends as needed
• Must be able to maintain high levels of confidence.
