The purpose of ourBehavioral Health Integration Provideris to promote sound behavioral and mental health as an integral aspect of wellness for patients at Northern Nevada HOPES.

This position promotes behavioral and mental health as an important dimension of overall wellness. This is a Behavioral Health Integration Position. This position provides assessment, in-the-moment interventions, targeted brief therapy sessions, coping skills or referrals for additional services as a member of the Integrative Primary Care Team. This is an exciting opportunity to positively influence health and behavioral outcomes by being part of a fully integrative medical and behavioral health care team.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

*Due to real and potential conflicts of interest that exist when HOPES Behavioral Health providers render services to their coworkers, it is HOPES policy (Policy HR0005) that HOPES employees may not access HOPES Behavioral Health Services. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES. Accordingly, you hereby acknowledge and understand that if you are receiving services from a HOPES Behavioral Health provider at the time you are offered and accept employment with HOPES, you have the option of rescinding your acceptance of employment or finding a new behavioral health provider outside o HOPES before starting employment with HOPES.

  • Completion of a Masters level program and licensure (eligibility) in the State of Nevada as a LCSW orLFMTrequired.
  • Therapeutic experience within the clinical setting required.
  • Valid BLS required prior to hire, per HRSA compliance.
