The Leidos Health Mission Solutions Business area of Leidos is seeking a highly skilled SaaS Engineer/Architect to support our federal customer. The successful candidate will oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of a variety of SaaS products, ensuring they align with our operational needs and federal compliance standards. While some established SaaS products like Zendesk and HubSpot are in a maintenance phase, requiring guidance for product maturation or troubleshooting, others like Atlassian require full lifecycle setup and integration. This role demands a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic oversight, providing a unique opportunity to shape our SaaS landscape.

Role is primarily telecommuting with the preference for the ability to be onsite in the DC/MD area one day per week.

Candidate MUST be located in the United States currently and for the current 3 consecutive years and be a US Citizen or US Person (Green Card Holder) with the Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end setup, configuration, and integration of new SaaS solutions, such as Atlassian, ensuring they are tailored to the agency's requirements and federal standards.

• Provide expert oversight and strategic guidance for established SaaS products (e.g., Zendesk, HubSpot), ensuring they continue to meet the agency's evolving needs and compliance requirements.

• Act as a senior advisor for SaaS administrators, offering insights for product maturation, best practices, and advanced troubleshooting for complex production issues.

• Take guidance from the federal lead enterprise architect and Leidos enterprise architect on the agency's vision and IT Roadmap. Collaborate with Product Owners, the ICAM lead, the Security Team, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all SaaS solutions are seamlessly integrated and aligned with the agency's IT architecture.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SaaS configurations, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to federal guidelines.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing and conduct training sessions to empower internal teams with the skills needed to effectively use and support the SaaS products.

• Stay updated on SaaS technology trends and developments, advocating for and implementing enhancements that will benefit the agency.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all SaaS deployments in compliance with federal cybersecurity protocols.

• Serve as the primary liaison with SaaS vendors for new products set up, feature requests, and complex issues troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Minimum of 12 or more years related engineering experience

• At least 5 years of experience in SaaS environments, with 2+ years in a federal or regulated setting, and a proven track record of managing SaaS products through various lifecycle stages.

• Deep knowledge of and experience with both mature and emerging SaaS solutions, including Atlassian, Figma, Slido, Slack, Zendesk, HubSpot, etc.

• Familiarity with federal IT regulations, compliance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide expert advice and practical solutions to complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrated project management and leadership experience, with a focus on delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.

Advanced degrees or certifications in cloud computing or SaaS technologies preferred.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
