About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with previous work experience in an analytical role.
The responsibilities for this role would include (but are not limited to) the following:
Cross-checking daily accommodation offers and rates against our contracted terms and conditions.
Identifying discrepancies and organizing this data for proper actionable reporting.
Analyzing data to identify trends, threats, and opportunities for the company.
Investigating discrepancies to identify the root cause of the issue.
Comparing each of the company's contracted rates and negotiated terms against other offers available online and/or to competitors.
Identifying opportunities for the company to improve contracted terms and/or profitability.
Generating reports and/or presentations in which to help with the company's negotiating process.
Helping with investigating problematic hotel charges on a regular weekly basis.
The ideal candidate is very detail-oriented, has good analytical skills and experience, and is able to create concise reports and/or presentations for operational staff and leaders. This candidate strives in a remote working environment and works well with cross-functional teams to achieve the company's goals and objectives.
Mandatory Requirements
Fluent in English (High English proficiency is a must)
Minimum of two years of full-time employment in a capacity demanding strong analytical, research, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Highly proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets
Able to create pivot tables and presentations to easily explain the data to internal and external stakeholders
Reliable internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
Hotel or Travel Industry Experience
2+ Years in a full-time Remote Work position
Excellent communication skills
Experience in researching competitors online and/or through other practices

Passed this, you are on to your last interview with the wider team, which is usually the team leader or whom you will report to, as well as one of the senior team members, to go over more in-depth questions about the role and some live exercises may be performed.
