Job Description

S u m mari z e d P ur p os e :

Responds to requests to contribute to the development and analysis of proposal and contract modification deliverables to the client to ensure consistency and bid quality. Applies standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data. Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity. Based on acquired knowledge and through analysis of deliverables, identifies and escalates issues as needed to the commercial analyst and other colleagues with whom they interact with to ensure consistency and bid quality. May provide mentoring and/or training to less experienced colleagues.

Ensures requests are completed efficiently within expected delivery timelines securing consistency and bid quality

Applies standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

Communicates directly and regularly with requestors to seek additional information when missing or to seek further clarifications when needed to

complete tasks most effectively

Effectively communicates any issues related to requests with requestor and/or manager with possible solutions to ensure quick resolution

Enters accurate information into the proposal and contract tracking database so that timely and accurate reports can be generated.

Applies quality control procedures to ensure proposal budgets conform to departmental standards.

Completes peer QCs to ensure quality of deliverables

Qualifi c a t i o n s:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to manage multiple requests of more complexity level with specified and urgent deadlines ensuring consistency and quality of deliverables

• Demonstrated intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office software specifically Word and

Excel (e.g. pivot tables/charts, formulas, etc.)

• Demonstrated professional and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulate business topics to all levels within the department

• Demonstrated ability to drive timelines with external parties outside the department when required

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet deliverable opportunity and department requirements

• Demonstrated strong attention to detail

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate multiple factors, analyze data and perform financial analysis

• Ability to identify and anticipate potential problems and take pro-active action

• Strong analytical and math skills

• Understanding of financial concepts and associated calculations and analysis

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to positive change through process improvement, feedback channels and project participation
