Job Description

Lead medium scale, enterprise-wide Product Development initiatives aimed at keeping the current product offering for a specific market segment current and competitive. Acts as the primary liaison between segment sales, segment strategy, and the different delivery teams ensuring that their respective refresh/scope optimally delivers on the desired business outcomes. Act as a thought leader and facilitator for high level scope definition, prioritization, and manage that scope all the way down to delivery.

• Leads and facilitates the development of scope for upcoming refresh years (Annual enterprise Initiatives) based on commercial markets leadership’s guidance, Segment Sales’ feedback, and Segment Strategy direction.

• Provides thought leadership to solving new and developing federal, state, and other regulatory challenges.

• Works cross-functionally across the enterprise to define and develop proof of concepts, business cases, product designs, business requirements, and functional specifications

• Develops and presents product designs and business cases to multiple levels within the organization for approval in securing resources, budget, support and buy-in for the initiative

• Identifies the marketing/launch strategy and plans in collaboration with marketing resources

• Reviews and approves marketing literature, training material, technical specifications, and test plans and results

• Responsible for final commercial success of product launches

• Serves as a resource and product expert for enterprise

• Actively participates in identification of process improvement opportunities that can result in cost savings, reduction in time-to-market, and increase in customer & member satisfaction

Hiring Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)

• 5+ years of experience in related field.

• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

What We Like

• The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in (Health) Insurance and Healthcare.

• Experience in product delivery: Either in a complex services or software organization where it takes multiple stakeholders with differing or conflicting interests collaborating to deliver a service or product addressing a market or business need (e.g., strong working knowledge of MS Project, Jira, AIPMM Certification, or Pragmatic Institute Product Management Certification)

• Experience in product management, project management, and/or requirements management – including an understanding of how the availability of scope, schedule, and resources impact risk.

• Strong collaborative and social skills: As the Product developer for refresh you are expected to find better solutions to update existing products to ensure compliance and market relevance. In order to do that, you need to build relationships throughout the delivery organization and understand who to work with and how to work with them to get things done.

Salary Range

$84,000.00 - $152,200.00
