Sales Communications Manager

Location: EMEA – Hybrid/Home Based

Position Summary:

As part of the Bentley Sales Communications team, and reporting to the Director, Sales Communications, the Sales Communications Manager (EMEA & APAC) participates in the development and delivery of sales communications projects and programs designed to keep members of the Account Advancement Group (Bentley Sales) informed and aware of initiatives impacting their goals as well as the overall business’ mission. This role will specially focus on team-specific sales communications efforts impacting the EMEA and APAC regions.

The Sales Communications Manager, EMEA & APAC is responsible for aligning with key stakeholders globally as well as in EMEA/APAC to develop and execute communication plan(s) and programs across a variety of internal channels and supporting efforts to unify and streamline all sales-centric communications.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Strategically aligns with regional team leads, including Sales Executives, Chiefs of Staff, Sales Enablement, User Success, and Marketing to plan and manage communications impacting the EMEA and APC regions, including, but not limited to the development and facilitation of quarterly all-hands, executive communications, on-ramping, support for in-person events in-region, etc.

  • Aligns with global efforts to develop and deliver communications targeting the EMEA/APAC regions that foster and support the overall mission of the Account Advancement Group.

  • Proactively partners with cross-functional teams and leaders to build and execute communications plans and deliverables in support of varied initiatives.

  • Reinforce and amplify communications at the regional / team level to ensure communications are being received and actioned.

  • Liaison with EMEA and APAC CoS/Admin leads to support identification and curation of Deal of the Day content.

  • Partner with Director of Sales Communications to manage distribution of Deal of the Day content.

  • Participate in the maintenance of Bentley’s Sales Portal, an internal “intranet” site utilized by all Sales colleagues to access sales resources.

  • Manage the execution of virtual events/meetings of varying size occurring in the EMEA and APAC region including, but not limited to, invite distribution, pre/post email communications, Q&A management, MC duties, etc.

  • As needed, and when travel permits, provide in-person event support for events occurring in regional office(s). Partner with Sr. Events Manager, AAG to provide necessary communications support for EMEA and/or APAC events.

  • Develop and draft regionalized content for distribution across multiple internal channels including the Sales Portal, Leadership messages, infographics, one-sheets, global emails, and more.

  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement team colleagues to ensure communications, education, and enablement resources adhere to corporate branding standards and procedures while meeting regional needs.

  • Support communications efforts for sales onboarding and on-going enablement experiences of EMEA and APAC colleagues through regular interaction with the Sales Enablement team.

  • Partner with Sales Communications colleagues to ensure the sales communications / event calendar is updated with events impacting EMEA and APAC.

  • Routinely update and audit Outlook distribution lists impacting EMEA and APAC.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 5-10 years of corporate work experience focused on internal communications, engagement, and employee experience, preferably with a technology/software company.

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or closely related field or work or training related experience.

  • Previous experience supporting sales colleagues preferred.

  • Organized, reliable self-starter with strong project management and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong, authentic written/verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to develop and nurture trusting relationships with cross-functional teams and colleagues at various levels.

  • Ability to provide a high-level of customer service to internal stakeholders; including the ability to professionally re-position (or deny) requests for communication.

  • Ability to see the big picture, ask questions, and gather and organize information to understand and communicate varied topics of differing levels of importance.

  • Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet quick deadlines; Ability to adjust and adapt based on shifting priorities.

  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; SharePoint. Comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
